SimaPro LCA Summit

Day 1 — 35 years of advancing LCA

On November 25, we opened with a look back at key milestones in SimaPro’s history and the evolution of life-cycle assessment. Mark Goedkoop (Founder of PRé) and Eric Mieras (Chief Innovation Officer at One Click LCA & Managing Director at PRé) shared four key learnings acquired on this 35-year journey.

The presentation was followed by a roundtable discussion. Online attendees heard from experts including:

This first day offered both a celebration of progress and a reminder of how far the field has come — from early LCA tools to internationally recognized practice.

Day 2 — Bridging sustainability strategy and execution

On November 26, the SimaPro LCA Summit shifted focus to the future. As SimaPro has now become part of One Click LCA, we explored the new opportunities this creates for organizations using SimaPro and aiming to turn sustainability goals into measurable action.

A second roundtable discussed how scalable LCA can help close the gap between sustainability strategy and execution — emphasising how tools like SimaPro Synergy support teams embedding sustainability across operations.
