ecoinvent (consequential)

The ecoinvent database is a life cycle inventory (LCI) database that supports various types of sustainability assessments. It currently contains more than 18000 activities, otherwise called ‘datasets’, modeling human activities or processes.

Different system models are available. The cut-off system model data library is included in SimaPro by default. We provide the consequential data library (also known as “Substitution, consequential, long-term”) as a separate download. SimaPro users with an active subscription or service contract can download version 3.9.1 of the data library using the form below.

Download ecoinvent (consequential)

Fill in the form to download the consequential data library of the ecoinvent 3.9.1 database. Please note that to download and use the database, you need to have an active SimaPro subscription or an active service contract in combination with a SimaPro perpetual license.

Note: The allocation at the point of substitution model (version 3.9.1) will not be implemented in SimaPro due to known issues. We will be implementing the corrected version (3.10) once it is released by ecoinvent.
